Zeus or Zeus, according to ancient Greek theology, is the "Father of the Gods and Men" who rules the Gods of Olympus. Zeus is the god of heaven and lightning in Greek mythology. She is the youngest child of Saturn and Rea. In most traditions he is married to Hera, though in Dodoni's oracle, his wife Dionis is mentioned. He is known for his erotic adventures. This led to many pious and heroic offspring, including Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Persephone (by Demeter), Dionysus, Perseus, Hercules, Nice Helen, Minos and Moss the Titanic Memorial). It has acquired Mars, Ivy and Hephaestus from Hera (another source says that Hera fertilized Hephaestus alone), while from Oceanus Dion acquired Aphrodite. Zeus has always been a meteorological god, controller of lightning, thunder and rain. He was the strongest and most important of all mythological beings and gods. Theocritus circa 265 BC he wrote: "sometimes Zeus is clear, sometimes it is raining". In the Homeric epic of the Iliad, he sent lightning to his enemies. His other emblems were the eagle and the goat.
